GMR Group CSR wing hosts programme

Hyderabad: Ahead of this year’s, International Women’s Day, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation on Thursday said it hosted an awareness session at Zilla Parishad Girls’ High School in Mamidipally, Ranga Reddy district.

The Foundation in a press note said that the event addressed menstrual health and personal safety for adolescent girls in age group of 11 to 16 years.

Chief Guest C Sirisha Raghavendra, Superintendent of Police, emphasised the importance of menstrual health and hygiene, as well as preparedness among this age group.
